An exciting and informative trip to Lausanne! Our group attended the PhyloSIB Workshop organized by the Swiss Institute for Bioinformatics. In this one-day workshop, we learned about the cutting-edge phylogenetic research currently performed in Switzerland, with lots of interesting talks ranging from technical aspects to applied research questions that can be tackled using molecular epidemiology.
